Hi, my name is Lucas Mulder, and I've been working on the web now for longer than I care to mention. During this time I have worked for clients both large and small, and filled many roles from designer, developer, to project manager, and management consultant. From the very beginning I realised that technologies can be molded to suit just about any requirement, and what's important is to pay close attention to a client's needs and to deliver a solution tailored specifically to their goals.

This remains a guiding principle here at 100cm, where I focus my web work now. I'm not pushing one tool over another, in fact I'm not pushing anything. I'm focused on listening to what my clients need, helping them define what it is they want, giving things a good hard think, and then using my experience to suggest the best possible solution. As I do tend to work with many non-profits I usually consider an Open Source solution before any other - they save money and development time - but if the solution calls for something else, then that's the path we'll take.

While I'm the principle here at 100cm I'm not alone in this venture in that I can call on a long list of trusted associates that I've built relationships with over the years. These friends fill out my skill set by offering expertise in everything from database development to video production. If I can't do something I'm not going to say that I can, instead I'll bring in someone who can get the job done right, and on budget.
